Hey there! I'm BERNTH, and I play guitar for a living – whether it’s for my youtube videos, the band I play in, or jumping on stage with others (like Tool) when they’re in town.

I don’t say any of that to “brag” or “pat myself on the back”. Instead, it’s because I’ve had the insane fortune of being able to do what I love for a living. And I bet if you’re reading this, you want to make a living (or at least a side income) doing the thing you love too!

So what made this all possible for me? Honestly, it wasn’t just being good at guitar. And it definitely wasn’t because I had the right connections (I live in Austria… for now.)

Instead, I’d say the majority of my success is thanks to the Youtube channel I started paying attention to in 2018, which now has 1.29 Million subscribers! 

But just like everyone else… I started with ZERO subs.

It took me tons of practice, trial and error, and pretty bad videos before I eventually cracked the YouTube code and built a successful channel (with a six-figure income to boot!). But what I discovered is, there are only 2 steps needed to start building a channel big enough to earn an income from youtube.

What are they? I won’t keep you waiting. They are…

1. Coming up with the right ideas, and…
2. Creating thumbnails that stand out and catch attention. 

These 2 ingredients are like the wood and heat needed to make a fire. Sure, you can (and should) add fuel to that fire after the flame is there. But everything else just helps it grow – it doesn’t create the initial spark.
